WE ARE COMMITTED TO CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
At Sarratt Office Supplies, we want to increase the focus on sustainable products that are less harmful to the environment. For many years we have provided FSC approved paper, recycled products, remanufactured ink cartridges, a managed print service & offered paper shredding. In addition, we have always tried to reduce & re-use all our packaging. This has helped reduce our carbon footprint & helped us achieve certain business targets.
Now, in November 2025, we are delighted to announce we have just achieved the Weaver Gold Certification for Carbon Footprint, Waste Management, Social Responsibility & Single Use Packaging. The certification includes Silver for Sustainable Products. Red more about this accreditation here

Carbon Footprint
We are continuously looking for ways to reduce the carbon footprint from our delivery vans. We plan our deliveries to optimise fuel efficiency. We promote the use of more efficient business machines such as smart managed print to save on supplies and electricity. We also use energy efficient lighting and appliances and encourage double sided printing or paperless processes. Members of our team also travel sustainably to work via the train or bicycle.

Waste Management
We provide several waste management services to assist your business. Our secure shredding and recycling services are just one of the ways we tackle waste management on your behalf. We also take away and recycle all our packing once we have delivered it to you, saving you the hassle and reducing the impact that single use packaging has on the environment. Within our office we have switched to digital invoices and communications to save paper.

Single Use Packaging
We have adopted a ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ motto within our workplace. We are committed to reducing the amount of plastic in our office supplies packaging. We purchase from wholesalers that supply us with recycled or recyclable packaging that we can pass to you. We also re-use as much as we can do such as envelopes, cardboard boxes and paper. We recycle as much of our office waste as possible minimise plastic use wherever we are able to.

Sustainable Products
We provide and promote the choice of alternative products that are kinder to the environment, for example recycled office supplies, eco-friendly cleaning products or remanufactured ink cartridges. We are committed to expanding our supply chain to provide you with the latest sustainable products. Other practices include prioritising the sale of recycled paper and biodegradable pens and offering you refillable or recyclable options where possible.

Social Responsibility
We work with a number of suppliers who follow sustainable practices, and we promote our eco-efforts via our blog and on our website. We support a number of local (and national) charities to show our commitment to giving back to the community. These include Watford Food Bank, Kings Langley Food Bank, Veterans Aid, Young Minds, the Institute of Cancer Research and donating to individuals doing challenges such as marathons and hikes.
